Meet our Staff
The left handed pitcher is from Chicago, IL where he holds high school records for innings pitched and strikeouts. He attended Austin Peay State University where he is 6th all time in career strikeouts and 3rd most in a single season strikeouts. Michael was a 2-time pitcher of the week and was the Governors Friday night starter during the 2018 season.
He was selected in the 2018 MLB draft and is currently a pitcher in the Tampa Bay Rays Minor league Organization. Michael is primarily working as a bullpen pitcher mostly late in games and as a closer. Micheal has seen incredible improvement in the kids he has worked with over the last 2 years.
Brady Cook was a 3 year starter at Union University in Jackson, TN as an Outfielder and Left-Handed Pitcher. Before Union, Brady prepped at Clarksville High School where he played four seasons of baseball. He was named the District 10AAA Player of the Year in 2014. Cook added Leaf-Chronical Area MVP Award, participated in the AAA Tennessee Senior All-Star Baseball Classic, named to the Tennessee Baseball Report All-2-Way Team, Tennessee Baseball Report Region Five All-Region Team, and team MVP as a senior. He hit .438 with 46 runs, 21 singles, 14 doubles, three triples, one home run, and 21 stolen bases as a senior. He was also 5-0 on the mound. As a junior, he was named Leaf-Chronicle All-Area Team, TBCA Region 5/6 Team, TBCA Border War Team. Off the field, Cook was named to the CMCEA Education Foundation All A Acadmic Honor Roll Team three times, was a Tennessee Scholar, a member of the National Honors Society, graduated with highest honors, earned the Principal’s Leadership Award, and was a student council representative.
Softball Pitching Instructor
Taylor (Deason) Griffin is a Clarksville TN native. She graduated from Northeast High School in 2011 and then continued her playing career at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Taylor was a 4 year starter at the University Of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she is the 3rd most winning pitcher in UTC softball history.

Morgan attended Rossview High School in Clarksville, Tennessee where she was a four-year varsity starter. In 2017 and 2019, Morgan was named team MVP and All-District. In 2019, she was also named All-Area Player. During her senior year of high school, she signed to attend and play softball at the University of West Alabama in the Gulf South Conference. Morgan is available to give lessons for hitting, slapping / bunting, throwing and outfield defense.
