Meet our Staff
Pitching instructor
The left handed pitcher is from Chicago, IL where he holds high school records for innings pitched and strikeouts. He attended Austin Peay State University where he is 6th all time in career strikeouts and 3rd most in a single season strikeouts. Michael was a 2-time pitcher of the week and was the Governors Friday night starter during the 2018 season.
He was selected in the 2018 MLB draft and is currently a pitcher in the Tampa Bay Rays Minor league Organization. Michael is primarily working as a bullpen pitcher mostly late in games and as a closer. Micheal has seen incredible improvement in the kids he has worked with over the last 2 years.
Softball Pitching Instructor
Taylor (Deason) Griffin is a Clarksville TN native. She graduated from Northeast High School in 2011 and then continued her playing career at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Taylor was a 4 year starter at the University Of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she is the 3rd most winning pitcher in UTC softball history.

Morgan attended Rossview High School in Clarksville, Tennessee where she was a four-year varsity starter. In 2017 and 2019, Morgan was named team MVP and All-District. In 2019, she was also named All-Area Player. During her senior year of high school, she signed to attend and play softball at the University of West Alabama in the Gulf South Conference. She finished her freshman season at UWA tied for the team lead with 2 triples, and also finished with a .914 OPS, a .538 SLG% and was 7-9 on stolen bases. She played her sophomore year at Coastal Alabama Community College where she was named 1st Team All-South, 2nd Team All-Region, Conference Player of the Week on March 22, 2022, NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete and 2nd Team NJCAA All-Academic. Morgan just completed her junior year at Middle Georgia State University where she was named the SSAC Player of the Week for the week of February 13-19, 2023. Morgan is available to give lessons for hitting, slapping / bunting, throwing and outfield defense as well as Speed and Agility and Strength and Conditioning.
